What would make me feel better is if there was more "parody" of these groups on TV. No one makes fun of them in Japan. At least in America we have outlets like the Daily Show or Saturday Night Live that pokes fun at popular culture and politics. But in Japan, you don't see that. So it seems like everyone likes this crap. There is no dissenting voice in mass media. I want to see comedians make jokes about AKB48, like how corny their music is, do they wear panties, how many producers did they slept with to get their jobs. ANYTHING irreverent and funny please?
